Got a Multilayer Visio Diagram?

MS Visio is a great tool for graphically representing various processes and objects. Visio has a Layers feature that can make using complex diagrams much easier. You can assign the objects in a diagram to different layers and then filter the drawing by toggling ON and Off the certain layers in the diagram.

The experienced users of MS Visio already have discovered how they can use those layers in Visio to their advantage. They use layers to group different objects in complex Visio drawings to offer different views on the same information pool.

MS Visio with no doubt is a powerful and multi-functional tool but it has no Macintosh version. If you need to open a Visio drawing on Mac using one of the Visio viewers, that is a big chance that you will not be able to use the advantages of layers functionality. But not with VSD Viewer Mac!

Visio layering system is rather complex. A Visio shape can belong to no layer, one layer or multiple layers simultaneously, and a layer can be visible or invisible; printable or non-printable. When viewing a Visio drawing with VSD Viewer Mac you can toggle on and off the layers visibility, export document to pdf, or print it including visible and invisible layers, or just the selected layers.
